There are a couple distinct differences between the units:

1.) 20 foot cord on Shurhold’s Polisher, but other are typically only 12 feet.

2.) Shurhold's power cord has a GFCI Plug for your safety. No other polisher offers this feature. This turns the plug into a breaker like the outlets in your bathroom; it’s added protection from electrical shock near and around water.

3.) The Shurhold Polisher comes with a heavy duty canvas carrying bag.

4.) The Shurhold unit comes with many handle options. The side handle, D shaped handle, and the ergo cut head cover. At this time, Griot’s only offers the D handle and Porter Cable the side handle.
